Water sports on Lake Attersee

Water skiing, sailing, surfing, diving.

Enjoy water, the elixir of life, as well as games in the sunshine and friendly contact. Listen to the splashing of the waves and the laughter of the children. The 48km² Lake Attersee has drinking water quality and is a paradise for swimming and all kinds of water sports. Sail and surf to your heart's content thanks to the ideal wind conditions, or have fun water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding or on the banana boat, as well as diving, fishing or taking a ride on rowing or pedal boats.

The hotel’s motor boat is licensed for water-skiing. Reduced rates for hotel guests, one free ride on Wednesdays and Sundays with a free ride on the banana boat or alternatively free tubing. Surfboards are available for rent.

Fishing

Just you, the silence and the lake: Fishing is an ideal opportunity to find restful moments of peace – at least until the fish bites. Free rowing boat included for fishermen.

Diving in the Attersee

Due to the extremely good visibility of up to 25m, Lake Attersee is a popular lake for diving, particularly on the south east side of the lake, where there are walls stretching down to as much as 170m. Direct water access is available for the divers. A drying room is also on hand.
